SNS Bank
SNS Bank is a Dutch retail bank offering financial products to both companies and individuals. SNS Bank was formed out of a merger of several savings banks in the Netherlands. SNS is an abbreviation of "Samenwerkende Nederlandse Spaarbanken" (Co-operating Dutch Savings banks). In 1997, SNS Bank's holding company bought all shares in major Dutch insurance provider Reaal. Since the 18th of May 2006, the company is listed on the Euronext stock exchange in Amsterdam. On the 4th of December 2006, it was announced that SNS Bank is taking over Regio Bank from ING in a €50.000.000 deal.
